Isn't it obvious? The true purpose of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu must be to
BEHEAD your opponent with godlike speed. <Spoiler>That's why the
successor has to kill the master</spoiler>, to get quicker.
I'm astonished if something along this lines has not yet been written.
