Sorry about not replying to Chapter 2 earlier: I've been having
computer problems and you've released Chapter 3 before I was back
online.
I enjoy both Gargoyles and Ranma 1/2, so this is shaping up to a nice
read. However, I have a problem swallowing the number of plot
devices you used to 'trap' Ranma and Akane as gargoyles.
1> The mysterious disapearence of the Nyannichuan along with the
(in)convenient loss of the last cask of Nyannichuan water.
2> The limit of 3 immersions preventing Ranma from using the
Nannichuan.
3> The Gaagoirniichuan being permanent because:
(a) boiling water is needed to transform to human and
(b) the transformation from gargoyle to human is painful
(although for some reason the reverse isn't).
I suggest that you simply explain away the permanance of the
Gaagoirniichuan by just saying that the magical nature of a gargoyle
interferes with Jusenkyo's curse, and thus that water - even other
Jusenkyo water - will not transform them further. Why use 3 plot
devices when one will do?
(If you really needed them to be human by day, I would have suggested
that perhaps this combination could function like Demona's
transformation. However since C.S. 3 has been released, I guess my
suggestions may have come too late.)
