Er... no. I don't want to belabor the point, but I'm reasonably sure
that using an apostrophe to make a plural is *always* wrong. Except when
it's also a possessive, in which case the apostrophe comes after the s:
"I've got photographs of all the UFOs' control rooms!"
I made a mistake in
thinking that could be applied to first names as well. Oh well. I still
think 'Sayuris' looks bad, but who am I to argue with the laws of grammar?
<sigh> I'll be changing that over.
Another question, though: I want to post this (after making a few revision)
to RAAC, but don't have access to the newsgroup - what's an alternate method
of posting? (I tried Deja.com, but Decision was too large; I'm hoping to
avoid breaking it up.)
Yeah, there's an E-mail submit address, namely
<rec-arts-anime-creative@cs.ubc.ca>. A reminder for the people out there
who are reading this: Don't send your fic to FFML and RAAC in the same
post, or you'll get banned from FFML. (It doesn't make a lot of sense to
do this anyhow; RAAC is for finished works, while FFML is for drafts.)
