herself when
she splits.
I wasn't implying loss of control. The undertone of the joke is that
Belldandy responds to that something akin to herself in Kasumi in a
more reserved and formal way, although not without warmth. The
mini-Bells may feel the pull more acutely and respond accordingly.
Admittedly, I'm making a small assumption about the state of the
mini-Bells' minds versus that of the complete Bell, but it doesn't
seem farfetched.
You could also add variety to her 'demostrations' if you like.
Split for the
first, shrink for the second and summon angel for the third.
Perhaps, but then I wouldn't have a running gag, and I'm not sure
the scene can handle the added complication of having to introduce
an angel to everyone. It's long enough as is.
