Akane and Ranma's attitudes are well done too. I can't WAIT to see the
saotome's and Tendo's reaction...

Xanatos is a complicated character. I prefer to think of him as a man who
does whatever he has to in order to get what he wants.
Speaking as one who's seen a LOT of Gargoyles, the main problem I had with
the fic was Xanatos's explanation re: why he was at Jusenkyo, and his
lecture about the Manhatten Gargoyles. It was just a little too much. Why
would Xanatos go into such detail? Especially with Plum and the Guide
around. It's not his style. He only tells people what they need to know.
Maybe he would tell Ranma that he might be able to help him find a cure, but
that Ranma and Akane would have to trust him. Without many other options
(no springs to change them back) they might as well, right? It's kindof a
classic Xanatos situation. Then he could set them up to meet whomever he
wanted them to meet, and explanations could follow when appropriate.
It's a shame they didn't bring Alex with them. It could have been an
"educational" trip.
