Okay people, I'm sure you've all noticed the profusion of mallets floating around in many anime/manga, but have you ever stopped to wonder where they come from? No? Okay, so I've got a comparatively large amount of time on my hands then.

Yes, of course you have. And so have I. And I happened to catch an idea that was floating around a short while ago that might explain this 'mystery'. (If this was your idea, thanks, I had to pinch it!) Yes, the dimension of mallets, strange alternate universe, accessible only to a select few, gifted individuals with noble causes, courageous hearts, and an excess of annoying people around them to hit. And who, you might well ask, stops others from getting at the mythical mallet kingdom? Funny you should ask.....
