Regarding Akane's hair from the beginning of the series: how
would this hairstyle be described?  It isn't a pony tail, since the
tie is near the tip of the hair and not near the back of the head.

I'm writing an original anime-inspired story and a character in it 
has a similar hair style, and I'd like to know if there is some sort 
of name for this type of hair style.  Please, private replies only.
