"Oh, no," Akane moaned. "Oh, no, no, no..."
"I'm... I..." Ryoga paused and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," he finally
managed, his voice cracking. Akane made a noise that was half-laugh,
half-sob.
"Not half as sorry as I am."

Yes, just when you think it's safe to go back to your mailbox. ^_~ It's
been a long time, but the story now continues, hopefully in directions you
wouldn't expect. I'll be posting the revised version of Part One shortly,
