My beef with this isn't so much the new version of Ami, although she is
rather... disturbing.... but rather Usagi.
I will admit that my dislike for her new character concept is purely
emotional... But still...
She's a GIRL, d*mm*t!
The desired effect on the universe could just as easily be effected by
other, less extreme changes.
If you wanted to keep her a martial artist, well, does Shampoo seem like a
boy to you? Me neither. Not that I'm saying she should be a bimbo, but
still...
You could try playing her as a fan of the occult, who has actually tried to
cast spells... They didn't work, quite, but they did build up her magical
'muscles' to the point where, combined with the fact that the Senshi powers
are technically HER sevants, she could override the natural template.
I'm sure that there ore other potentials, even if I can't think of any right
now...
