Well Komodo, I think this is a devious little fic and all... but you need to
research more into the lore of lycanthropes before writing about them. For
one thing, there is no such thing as a half-were. Second, a lycanthrope
would never call him/herself a 'were'. No, only a wolfwere as opposed to a
werewolf would do that. Third, if Amy is a Werewolf on her mother's side,
then she is all werewolf. The genes for lycanthropy are always dominant,
therefore she would have all the abilties of a true lycanthrope (not cursed,
it is all natural) and for future reference, in case you are thinking of
putting it in there, a true lycanthrope does not change by the light of the
full moon. Only cursed lycanthropes do that. Another point, werewolves do
not decide to live as long as they want. They die of old age just like a
regular human does. I know this is a little unnecessecary, but lycanthropes
are what I know and I feel that if you are to write with them, you must
understand them. Other than that, I like it. Now if only I understood the
deal with gnome...

I wasn't aware that lycanthropy actually existed. Mayhaps somebody should
let the medical community know.

Oh wait.

It doesn't exist.

So how are there genes for lycanthropy? How do things that don't exist
die of old age? And how do things that don't exist not call themselves
certian things?

I find it silly that people say "this works like this, or this isn't true"
in regards to the mythical. I once received a comment about the usage of ki
in one of my stories. The author claimed that ki did not work in the fashion
which I described it to.

I didn't respond to that fellow (IIRC), because the entire email was full
of enough invective to make me ill, but still...

Does anyone here know how to manipulate their ki? Can anyone use it for
combat purposes, or even sense another person's ki? I'd really like to
talk to you if you can, because you actually have a license to say "ki
works like this" or "ki does not work like this".
