Having recently gotten word that you Redoubtable Champions of the Purple
Tresses are hard at work preparing an auto da fe with me as the intended
guest of honor, I decided it best to inform you early on, that I will
not be able to attend said event. In order to make up for this
regrettable circumstance, I here supply you with a carefully prepared
picture of the Owner of Your Hearts. I do realize that this will not be
nearly as much fun as watching my hair catch on fire, but I do hope you
will make do with it until such time as I may safely attend an event
such as the one you have so carefully planned.
