Suggest not repeating 'look.'
Well, actually that was intentional... didn't work for you, I take it.
Not as written. Maybe if the last bit said 'Akane, in turn, gave....'
I've gotten several different suggestions for that so far... eenie,
meenie, minie, moe... :)
This time "drat" just didn't cover it. *His will is so
strong, to resist the drug so!* For a moment Kodachi considered
suggesting to Ranma that she was Akane, but then her pride tore
the notion down and trampled on it; that way lay utter defeat.
Hey, Asuka would've done it. :)
Reference escapes me, sorry... Asuka from NGE? I haven't seen that yet.
Neither have I. I was talking about Kodachi's rival from vol. 33, as you
seem to have realized five minutes after you wrote this reply. :)
Yeah, and, damn, that is such a sly HaMP in-joke that I'm still flogging
myself for not having done it on purpose. Obviously my subconscious wrote
that and never got around to letting me know about it. Please accept it
in the spirit that I wish I'd offered it. :)
"Push the button, Akane," Ranma said, grinning.
"I will."
"Just push the button!"
"I WILL push the button."
"Make one of these...."
"I will."
Darn. Another over-my-head reference... but then, the reference *I* was
making, to "The Great Race" ("Push the button, Max!") is probably too
obscure these days...
I've never seen that; my reference was to Mystery Science Theater 3000
("Push the Button, Frank!") specifically the "Sidehackers" ending. They
may have gotten the running "Push the button" joke from "The Great
Race," for all I know.
Probably. Oh, well, as long as people get that it IS a reference, I don't
suppose it matters to what. :)
Actually, I think the Principal would be laughing hysterically at this.
He likes a good joke, even when it's on him. :) Besides, think of all
the students who'll have to work overtime fixing his office.
Good point. How about a receding cry of "Auwe!" followed by hysterical
laughter, then?
Yeah, that sounds good.
Consider it edited in-- thanks!
