Hmmm...Ranma as a Mack Bolan type vigilante? interesting concepts, but a
couple of nagging things about this story in my mind (Any future discussion
can be done by E-mail)
First, where did Ranma get his experience with firearms? (I'm talking in the
story overall, not just here.) From what I've seen, Ranma hasn't had much
experience with actual weapons, and gun laws in that area of the world I
believe are rather strict, so he can't just go down to the local gun club and
practice. While my own actual experience with firearms is limited, I've read
enough to know that firearm combat is markedly different from martial arts
fighting.
Second point is his overall combat savvy so far, a savvy that only comes from
training and experience. Who's going to train a 16-year old in sniping, close
combat using firearms, and demolitions?
Points to consider as the story is written -- not stumbling points, but area
that need to filled in to give Ranma's alter-ego depth.
