Sairaag has one true god and its name is Science.  A Demiurge of Science.

Aha, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I suspected something ever since your
description of the hydroplane, steam power just isn't enough for the job. I
was quite sure when I read the last scene in book 4. I still have a few
questions about this demiurge, but I'm sure you'll answer them in your own
good time in the story.
Keep up the good work and don't stop writting!
