She's obviously read the hello kitty newsgroup because she mentions my
boyfriend's Badtz Maru tattoo and a few other things. Also when I mention
Ranma's handwriting, he's probably using burikko-ji, "kitten
writing" which is also discussed in the article.

There's actually some interesting articles floating around about girls
that are breaking their ankles and killing people in traffic accidents
from wearing those HUGE shoes, but I don't have those indexed.
The references to HK made my husband shudder, which is how I knew they
were working... :)
It's actually amazing that Hello Kitty isn't mentioned more often, she's
pretty pervasive in Japan, at least in urban areas.
