<*SUPER HUGE THE AFC MIGHT WIN ANOTHER SUPERBOWL SNIP*>
*Sheesh, I got rip that AFC never winning a super bowl again joke out of
one my fanfics..:)*
As the first chapter said, the world is "much alike" to the Series world. In
other words, the animators don't have everything completely correct. Since
I haven't seen Next (Arrgh) I did not know about this... but for the purposes
of THIS fic, there are only two real Martial Artists (as opposed to master
swordsmen, kick-ass boxers, etc... well, the difference is Chi. That, and
Ranma's innate coolness. ^_^)
Cool, I can understand that.
I was probably being a bit too picky, but it was worth pointing out so you
could at least be ready to fire back at overly picky people (like me...^^)
Um... when I saw the series... I may be mistaken, but, didn't she keep
refusing to teach Amelia? It's been a while...
She refused at first but was talked into teaching her. The first lesson
resulted in the destruction of a hill (By Lina) that lead to a bunch of
ghosts being set free.
Plus she wasn't reluctant to teach the spell, she was more reluctant to
teach it to Amelia, who was way over the top with her 'Justice' spiel at
that time. Chances are if she thinks Ranma can pull the spell of she might
teach it to her, if Ranma's willing to learn.
And Ranma does NOT want to learn it, since (a) It's a black magic spell,
drawing on other powers (She hasn't any problem with Shamanistic spells, they
seem forces of nature to her, and that's like Chio and Kami to her) and (b)
Jusendo. She NEVER wants to do that kind of damage again... Ranma is a BIT
more moral than Lina in that respect.
Oh, I can see that..Though I do suppose it would be neat to see her
reaction to chanelling the dark power from a Mazoku.^^
If she is just gonan focus on Shamanism though then you might want to move
his training over to Zelgaldis in a bit. Lina is comptent enough at it,
but her main specality is Black Magic. Zelgaldis is probably the highest
level user of Shamantic magic in the party so....
Hmm..Would Ranma be willing to learn White magic....It's not destructive
so Ranma shouldn't have any qualms about learning it but she might not be
able to pick it up as easily given that it orginates from Dragons and
all..
And a point just thrown out for fun, Shamanism has in the first 2 series,
not been able to down a Mazoku yet. Only the Dragon Slave, Ragna Blade and
Giga Slave have. Of course who knows how Chi/ki might relate to Shamanism
and all, but it's worth noting simply because Ranma should have problems
if she takes a Mazoku on alone right now...But now I'm babbling so..:)
Ja ne!!
