Jack, Jack, Jack... I like your stuff. Really, I do. Some of the stuff you
(and Lady Tesser) write just makes me wonder, though...
What was the point behind this? I mean... romantically match any two given
characters. Okay I can see that. Break them completely out of character to
do so? It might as well have been Nodoka and P-Chan or Hiroshi and Shampoo.
Seriously.
This is negative C&C, but try not to take it as a pointless flame. In the
dialogue, there was absolutely nothing to support that the two characters
were, in fact, Kasumi and Happi. The 'surprise ending' could very literally
have had any two names.
There's nothing truly 'tender' about Happosai. That doesn't mean he doesn't
love Kasumi. That doesn't mean someone as nice as Kasumi couldn't find
something to love about Happi.
Characterization really is kinda important. Don't forget about it when
trying to make a point.
