I know not everyone likes a yaoi... If you don't like
it then why did you open this post?
I was prompted to write this by another group. It is
based on a drawing I did of Mamoru and the Generals.
The drawing is scanned in somewhere if you want to be
directed to it (private email requests, please).
I don't own any of these characters... Takeuchi-sama
does. I just like to play with them. I receive
nothing for writing (except satisfaction that comes
with completion).
This takes place sometime during SuperS (but not too
far along in it since I only have the first two
translated manga). Try not to worry about it... It
was only meant to be a fluff fic.
Perfect Love
by Leloi
Early Dawn...
Mamoru woke with tightness in his chest. The Earth
was dying. Elysion was...
Mamoru shook the thought away as he clamped his hands
to his chest. The pain was excruciating. It spread
from his chest and coursed through his veins, leaving
a path of agony behind it. Every muscle writhed in
agony as they contracted to control the pain. His
body found some comfort in being pulled into a tight
ball.
"I don't want to die like this..." Mamoru thought as
another wave of pain coursed through his veins. He
couldn't die. He had to protect Usagi... and
Chibi-Usa. They both needed him. The Earth needed
him. He was its protector.
Mamoru forced his body to sit up on the couch he had
been laying on. He looked across the room to the
moonlit window. In his bed, beneath the window, his
charges lay snuggled together. Moonlight bathed them
in a soft blue glow.
Mamoru struggled to stand and walk to the bed. If
this was to be the end he had to kiss them goodbye.
Pain ebbed from his chest and the muscles in his torso
constricted in defiance. Thigh muscles and legs
cramped in response. Mamoru fell to the floor only a
few feet from the bed. With his remaining strength he
rolled over to stare at the ceiling.
Something cool was clenched in his hand at his chest.
With some difficulty he managed to roll his hand over
and drop what he was holding. Four minerals tumbled
onto his chest.
The generals... His generals from another lifetime...
Beryl had bound their spirits to stone. When she was
defeated Mamoru reclaimed them. He wanted to free
them and give them lives of their own, but he wasn't
strong enough yet.
Mamoru covered the minerals with his hand and gently
pressed them to his chest. He stared up at the
ceiling as four shadows took shape.
"Master..." they cried in unison.
"I don't want to die like this," Mamoru whispered.
His chest pain made it difficult to take breath to
form words.
The four generals looked down on their master in
concern. They descended on him and wrapped their
misty, wraith arms around him. "Close your eyes,"
they whispered.
Mamoru obeyed. He felt warmth surround and fill him.
"You may see us now..." they whispered in his ear.
Mamoru opened his eyes. He was surprised to find that
he was floating in vague, cloudy place with his four
companions around him. "Where are we?" he asked.
"An in-between place where we can all be together...
where we can help ease your pain," Kunzite smiled
faintly. He leaned against Mamoru and wrapped his
arms securely around him. "Try and relax, Master."
Mamoru's skin tingled at Kunzite's touch. The muscles
relaxed and the pain eased away. All at once the
other three were upon him. He was touched and
stroked. Each caress tingled away the pain. The
tingles were intoxicating for Mamoru. The only thing
he had experienced remotely like it was when Usagi
delicately traced his spine with her fingertips when
they kissed. He arched his back and moaned. Fingers
were no longer touching him, lips were. He could feel
hot breath against his skin as it melted away the
pain. Mamoru focused on his companions. They kissed
his neck, chest, back and even his kneecaps.
"Do you remember?" Kunzite whispered.
"Remember what?" Mamoru asked, pulling his attention
away from Zoicite's breath on the back of his neck.
"The Silver Millennium before we went to the moon?"
Mamoru dragged his attention away from Jadeite's
fingers on his thigh. "Of course," he said at length.
"Do you remember how we used to play together... just
the five of us?"
Mamoru closed his eyes. A vision of hidden swimming
hole filled his mind. Five little men, no more than
boys ran naked together, held hands and jumped into
the water. "Yes."
"And when we got older...?"
Five men lounged beside the swimming hole. It was
their secret spot away from all the pressures of
palace life. In their secret spot they didn't have to
worry about protocol or appearances. They were the
best of friends and no one could harm them.
"Do you remember how much we loved you?"
Romans called it the "perfect love." Perfect love
could only be shared between men. It was more than
pleasure... it was a connection of equals. They
shared it together for the first time in their secret
spot. "It was perfect love," Mamoru whispered. He
opened his eyes and found himself caught in Kunzite's
gaze.
"It was another time... Another mentality, but it will
always connect us."
Mamoru glanced down at Nephrite's hand tracing
longingly against a thigh... blocked by Jadeite's
ministrations on the other. "I know..." Mamoru
whispered.
"And you can call on that connection whenever you need
us."
Mamoru touched his chest. It no longer ached. His
companions had washed the pain away. He smiled at
Kunzite, one hand reached up to touch his cheek.
"Thank you for soothing my pain."
Kunzite leaned forward and lightly kissed Mamoru's
lips. "Thank you for keeping our stones safe." He
smiled and faded away.
Nephrite kissed him on his left cheek. "Watch the
stars Master," he winked and faded.
Jadeite kissed him on the right cheek. "Watch out for
that Moon Girl..." he laughed as he faded away.
Zoicite hugged him and kissed his forehead. "Try and
stay out of trouble," he giggled as he faded.
Mamoru blinked a few times. His surroundings changed
drastically from the cloudy world to his ceiling. He
sat up carefully with only a dull ache in his muscles
to hint at his horrible night. He glanced down at the
four minerals in his hand. "Perfect love," he
whispered as he held them tight to warm them with his
touch.
"Mamoru... Why are you on the floor?" a voice queried
from the bed.
Mamoru turned to smile at Usagi. "No reason... love."
"Did your chest hurt?" Usagi asked as she sat down
beside him.
Mamoru enfolded her in his arms. "Not anymore..."
