definitely how I would feel if I were a pokemon. It puts the relationship of
ash and pikachu into a new light. Tell me what you think!! All C&C will be
GREATLY APPRECIATED!! Well, here it goes.......

The wind rustling through the trees provides an eerie melody to the still
night. High above, the bright white stars twinkle down at me from the inky
black sky. A loud snore rips through the night air as the boy wriggles about
in his sleep. Sighing, I think back to a time when my life had not been such
a cruel tease.
*********
I was born to be a great leader in our clan, as my forefathers had been.
Every one expected me to be excellent in all that I did. I had to be
superior to all the males of my generation. That is what my father told me,
and so I became the best. Before my third year, the leaders were already
allowing me to learn the ways of the chief.
My great future was one of the reasons Pi-chu was so affectionate towards
me, but soon she grew to love me. We were paired as mates years before it
was made official. The first time I saw her, I realized it would kill me to
live without her. Our bond grew as we reached maturity. It was on the quest
to prove my worth to her and the village, that the great tragedy, the
ruination of my life, happened.
Tradition in our village decrees that a male must prove his worth to a
female by journeying to a far away land, and returning with a prize that
could truly reflect the beauty of his chosen mate. My Pi-chu was the most
glorious creature ever to be born, and I was determined to find the most
wonderful trinket in the world. After many nights journey, I found my prize.
The first time I set foot in the human town, I could not imagine the
horrible beasts that had constructed such odd buildings. I wandered slowly,
keeping in the shadows, and on the look out for beasts. Then I saw the
wonderful thing that would win Pi-chu's heart. It glistened and glimmered in
the dim light; its smooth side reflecting the moon light.
Climbing nimbly, I scrambled up the side of the house. Standing on the
open window sill, I reached up towards the hook where the shiny gem hung.
Finding I could not reach, I stretched as far as I could. Suddenly, the
window flew open. Teetering for a moment, I fell down into the dark abyss of
the room. As I landed with a clatter, the dark room became light.
"Oh a pikachu, what are you doing here?" The voice was loud and deep.
Living in our isolated forest, my clan had never seen a human, so the
creature I saw was a complete shock. It towered far above me into the sky.
Odd clothe covered its body, and strange looking fur topped its head.
Paralyzed by fright, I didn't move as the man produced a red and white
ball from his pocket. He looked at me, and then hurled the ball. Suprise
flooded my limbs. As the ball impacted, and I felt my self being sucked into
its innards, I shrieked and let lose a powerful shock. My efforts were to no
avail, and I found my self caught in the dark nothingness.
Days past, and I grew to know the man. Despite his kindness, feeding me
and healing the wounds I had inflicted upon myself in my attack, I always
struggled to escape, and tried to shock and kick the man at every
opportunity. The times he freed me from the prison grew less frequent, and
soon, it was a rare occasion when I felt the bright rays of the sun, or
breathed the clean air.
Then, one day, I was released at an odd time. The man was accompanied by
a small, and rather silly looking boy. He smiled at me, and reached out to
pet me. Enraged, I released a blinding blast of electricity. To my dismay,
he took me anyway.
I refused to be put in the prison, and I knew the boy did not have the
will power to over come me. I attempted to gain my freedom by hurting him
every chance I got. I refused to obey his orders, and made him look like a
fool. Yet he always had a smile. Not once did he seem to think he would
fail in subduing me.
It was several days after we had set out on our journey when he ordered
me to attack a smallish bird. Besides the fact that I was determined to
ignore him, the code of my people forbid the harming of another animal. As
the boy stared at me, I scrambled up a tree out of his reach. His brows
creased in determination, he drew forth a prison, and threw it at the bird.
Thankfully, the prison failed and the bird remained free. Angered, it
flew to get the others of its kind. They came storming at the boy. I jumped
off the tree and began to run, but the boy snatched me up and grasped me
tight in his arms.
The rest is a blur in my mind. I recollect getting wet, and trying to
kill the birds with a shock. A dull ache still comes to my bones when I
recall the throbbing pain that I was in. Yet I got better. I awoke healed,
not a scratch left. The boy had risked himself to save me.
The most important of the codes of our people tell of the ultimate
bravery, risking yourself to save another. If someone risked themselves for
you, you had to repay the debt, and you could not leave them until you did.
These words bound me to the boy. To keep my honor as a male of my clan, I
had to stay until I felt I had fully repaid the debt.
*******
The cool night wind rustles my fur. Sleep still does not come to my
sleepy eyes. Many a night have I pondered my fate. If I were to be
dishonorable and break the oath, I could have left the boy many times
before. But I would return to my family in shame. My beloved Pi-chu would
never love an oath breaker.
So I wait, until I can return the boy's favor. I go about with a cheery
face, making the best of things. But every day I dream of Pi-chu, and every
night I wait for the moment when I can return to my beloved.

Well. If you couldn't tell, it was Pikachu's POV. I made up all the stuff
about his clan ect. If any one knows of any thing that is incorrect in this
fic, let me know.
