And this reply did not need to be public either, Ken. It would have functioned
equally as well if done privately, and would have had the additional effect
of not adding another message to the FFML. I have already privately dealt with
the matter, and refrained from a public banning of the thread because I was
hoping there would be no need for it.
Please don't post misinformation to the list and then point out that anyone
who corrects your misinformation is spamming the list. Which is what you're
doing. If you know that it's spamming, you shouldn't be posting it.
It should be noted that a public reply to spam is also considered spam,
regardless of whether the reply is asking the person not to spam or other. If
you feel it absolutely necessary to reply, do so privately.
