Nightmare on Elm St. meets Ranma. It boggles the mind.
I see two ways you can take this. First, you can take the Elm St. style,
which is the deadly horror film style. This has all the standard problems
with Ranma/(anything dark) in that Ranma itself isn't dark, but it also has a
few other problems, primarily along the lines that Ranma and most of the
other regulars have phenomonal chi powers which (IMO, of course) should be
capable of actually damaging, if not outright killing, Freddy. I mean, yeah,
he's a big bad-ass, but he ain't that cool. Now, I don't believe anyone in
the Ranmaverse has actually *KILLED* anyone.
The second way would be to take the humor style, but this has similar
problems with the Elm St.-verse. I think with the opening credits bit you
posted, this version is right out.

Hi everybody! Okay, I'm still kinda new to the mailing list, and I have no
idea what I'm doing, but if you're reading this, then I guess I got it
right! Anyways, this is just a tiny little teaser to a fic I'm starting to
write. I prefer any comments to be private, but if you want them public,
I'm sure I'll get over it. Please be gentle, cuz I'm just starting out at
this stuff, and I have zero self-confidance. *gulp* So read it if you
