Well, you MOSTLY got it right. :) One thing you really want to
watch out for is formatting... especially line length. Try wrapping
your lines at 65-70 characters - this seems to work best with
everyone's mailers. Most modern mail programs will do this for you
automatically if you turn the option on.

This teaser is pretty interesting, although (like most teasers) it
doesn't reveal enough about the story to make me decide whether I'm
REALLY interested or just curious.
