Oh, and concerning the nuclear retaliation on behalf of the UN or other
superpowers, if military covert ops were to infiltrate and disable those
systems, retaliation would be impossible.

Not possible. The US has roughly 25,000 to 100,000 read nuclear weapons
in numerous facilities all around the world, including subs. Not
possible. Not by any stretch of the mind.

Now, I know that that is almost
impossible to even fathom happening, but you also have to remember that Japan
is the technological capitol of the world.

No it isn't. The USA is, california comercially, the Fed for military
tech. The Japanese simply have looser enviornmental laws and as such
they can impliment more of it, cheaper.

It is entirely possible for them
to insert codes into all of the circutry and such that allows them to shut it
down with a master code.

Impossible. Nuclear weapons on subs have closed circuit computers. No
hacking is possible. And tapping the hardline isn't possible, its a sub.

Again, improbable, but not impossible.

See above.

It sounds like a bad movie plot, but a bad fanfic isn't far off, right?

Too unbelievable.

However, its a minor issue, So Japan has no concievable way of taking
over the world and no desire to do so? Thats problem numbers one and
two. Major battles so close to home? Problem three. Japan getting
bombed? Problem four. Use lots of BS and stretch reality, making Japan
now have some mystery weapon. Alien Tech. Powers of Ki revealed.
Mysterious benefactor. Do something. And change the locations.

No, my problem is Ryoga deserting. Horribly OOC, unless he wandered away
and got lost, which is playing far too hard on a Fanfiction cliche. And
Ranma acts kind funky too.

Kasumi's suicide:horribly out of the norm, but you might be able to get
away with it.

Anyway, there's that.
