it was pretty cool though, anyway. This is almost as
saccarine filled as
Sailor Moon.

If you've seen Escaflowne, then this is
like Escaflowne
light. It's cute, almost too cute at times. [Mokona

Still the video game like premise sort of impressed
me, One of the
characters even mentions that it's a lot like an
RPG, which it is. The
story is pretty involving, but the voice actors
failed to impress me. I
think the same girl who does Miyaka in Fushugi is
one of the Magic
knights, ugh. Any way, if you like Sailor Moon
you'll be impressed, if
you like Lodoss War, you'll want to beat it with a
stick. Fanfic of this
would be easy, but also hated by many as it would be
a self insertion.
Please don't.
I don't compare this to FY, for a few reasons.
One. it's by Clamp. (Which means it goes insane after a while.)
Two. With a few expections the team is quite cabapable and willing to kill.
(Nice change from Sailor Moon. ALL of the group is ready to rumble and
doesn't mind
throwing down.)
Three. One of the MOST depressing endings for a "Magical Girl" show.
(Season One.)
That I've seen.
Four. Mecha? Wha? (That gave me a grin when seeing it.)

*Heh* Cute is NOT the word I would use to desribe MKR. A way to twist your
mind,
mabye. Just wait til the person sees the Ending of Season One. {The twists
in Season
two made me just shake my head in surpise.}
It SEEMS cute, but there is a LOT of blood, and later one, it gets MORE
twisted.
(The word Knights should ring a bell. What is a Knight's purpose in being?

For GOOD Rayearth Fiction... Zu, Thomas, Davis all have written some GOOD
stuff with MKR (Thomas and Davis used crossovers with Ranma and SM to do
it.)
