I just uploaded a piece of art to my website for those of you following
_Spreading Wings_. I should be submitting the text that goes with this
picture sometime this week, probably Friday or Saturday.
No music with this one. If you happen to think of a piece that would go
well with it, drop me line. If you like it, drop me a line. If you hate
it because you think I botched the colorization, let me know. Oh, that
reminds me! The Line Art came from Ranma1/2, Vol 38, Page 53 and it was
downloaded from the Ranma1/2 Project. I did the colorization &
compositing in Photoshop on a G3 Mac.
You will need a graphics card capable of many, many colors for this
picture to display properly. Some wintel computers have a lot of trouble
rendering the blue end of the gamut in the RGB colorspace. This picture
has many shades of blue in it. If you suspect your computer is not
rendering it properly and you do have a graphics card capable of
millions, or "true" color, please let me know you are having a problem.
I may be able to correct it by adjusting the gamma or contrast and
posting pictures tuned for hardware with that particular problem.
Hopefully however, these will work pretty well on any computer with a
decent graphics card-- at least I have tried make them work for you. Let
me know.
