Greetings members of the Fanfic Mailing List,
Thank you for all your informative responses to the questions I
posted on the 10th. Your insights and links proved invaluable in
giving me a better understanding of the workings of the curses,
the Tendo residence, Nerima, and the Japanese police force.
This information will no doubt be invaluable in my upcoming
story.
While _any_ further comments or answers to the original inqury
would still be appriciated, let me just take this time to thank
all of
you that did respond.
I'm sorry for taking so long to write this thank you note, but
some
bodily injuries have kept me away from the computer and I just
managed to drag myself back to the keyboard yesterday.
I have included a small list to... add a more personal touch.
allyn youge - your links were excellent, espically those relating
to the Japanese police force. Some of that infomation has found
its way
considerablely into planning for an advance chapter. (Wow, I
haven't
even finished the prolouge and I'm leaping into the main body!)
Anand Chelian - Thank you for the first hand accounts of Japanese
architecture. Your comments on possible Japanese social reactions
was
a great help.
Ben Kosse - I will endeavor to format my posts better in the
future. Thanks for pointing out that particular problem.
Don Granberry - For adding an interesting perspective into
Japanese-
American relations. Reading your fic 'Spreading Wings' has been
very useful in giving me a look into how a forgiener would live
in Japan.
The link to the Ranma 1/2 FAQ was also interesting.
Esa Karjalainen - Thank you for your valuable comments.
Lawrence Chu - Wow, It certainly is reassuring to know my efforts
weren't for
naught. Funny, how the comments of those that did respond to my
original
posting of Lineman have promted conflicting emotions. On one
hand, its
gratifying to know my writing is not the scum at the bottom of
this Mailing List's
boots, it is also a little daunting to know that I now have to
maintain a certain
standard...

Bert Miller - Good bit on the location of the 'furo' (I assume
this is some sort of
Japanese hot tub). Your comments on reactions to foreigners and
the
surrounding layout of Nerima were most useful.
Rei Minako - Thank you for your comments. By the way, I live
inbetween two
Japanese families, and I never really gave much thought to them,
as they have
ready picked up American customs... They just blend in I guess...
Rhea Seraph - Well, I not a crazed fan boy of the series myself,
but I do think
it has some value... Thank you for your comments.
Talia Shimae - Hmm, I will have to look into that. Thank you for
your comments.
Trevor Hoffert - Thank you for your comments regarding the layout
of Nerima
