Finally! I was worried that you threw this series
away. But appears not, fortunately.
I just write Paragon slower... heh.
Paragon's one heck of a kick-ass, huh? Well, if
it's Ranma, who manages to be competant without the
aid
of natural/racial power, then I guess it's only fair
that he becomes nearly unstoppable.
Paragon, PHYSICALLY, is a juggernaut. Her magical powers aren't much
stronger than a Senshi basic attack (Fire Soul, etc.) and not as strong as
the advanced attacks. Then again, Paragon is the real heroine, in a way-- it
IS her war, and the Senshi are, well... involved accidentally. SHE is the
champion against the Dark, which is NOT related to any of the Senshis past or
future enemies...
Tofu, Ranma's aid? Well, it has been done in
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Ranma, but otherwise, it's a
good idea. Real good choice too, probably the most
balanced character in Ranma 1/2. Maybe that's why he
was removed from the original...
I LIKE Tofu, and I wanted to bring him back. So I did. Bii-daa!
I'm not sure if I like the way Ranma's changing.
It sounds too perfect, although the causes are
believable. Then again, I may be griping because I
consider canon Ranma to be just fine...
The Paragon Effect will have major consequences. I believe that Ranma has
been almost deliberately held in a state of immaturity by the pressures and
idiocy of his life. He's going to grow up-- and he's not going to be totally
happy about it. Then again, neither are others...
Oh well, keep it up!
THAT you can count on.
Kenko/Robert Haynie-- Author of Girl Days, Paragon, Redheads,
and War and Peace-- Gomen, no the last was Leo Tolstoy. Well,
I was CLOSE...
