First, I want to thank everyone who replied to my request earlier. A
number of them claim to have not read Spiderman because it is not based on
an anime.
To clear things up a bit with those who said so, those yet to say
so, and those who probably think the same and won't say anything, Spiderman
IS an anime fanfic. The basic premise, Hikaru Gosunkugi of Ranma fame gets
bitten by the ever popular Radioactive Spider and gains the proportionate
abilities of an arachnid. These newfound powers land him in a WORLD of
trouble with some of Spidey's worst enemies from the canon, the Chinese
Triad, the Yakuza, plots for world domination, alien symbiotes, and other
assorted nasties. All this, and he STILL can't find the nerve to ask Akane
out on a date. ^_^ The reason I chose Gosunkugi is his close similarity to
Lee/Ditko's Peter Parker. Both are shutterbugs, and were nervous little
geeks. While Parker's bent was scientific, Gosunkugi's was magic, but that's
a problem cleared up in part two.
Now that that's all cleared up, thanks for your time. And note, this
will be the LAST piece of spam from me for hopefully a LONG time to come.
