Thanks! I was attempting a better characterization of Shukumaru, so I'm
happy it seems to have worked, judging by the responses. :)

Well, I don't think Gos' family ever gets touched on in the manga-- or
do they? --so there was a nice gap that I could play with. Also, this
little bit of history touches on one or two happenings about six
chapters down the track.
Even if Gos' family are total wackos, it's still a possible explanation
for their insanity, I guess. Besides, I've only presented them during
their wedding - things can change over nineteen years; Shura is or will
be a librarian which might offer her and Gos-kun a direction into black
arts, while Hiro is studying to be a photographer. :)
As for Gos and how he relates to his family, well, you have to take a
look at those very small details.
