Hi, all. I thought I'd go ahead and post this. I
haven't posted anything in a while. My writing's kinda
at a stand still now. I'm still working on Ch. 14 of A
Legend Reborn and Ep. 7 of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor
Juraihelm. The holidays have kinda got in the way.
Actually, the gifts I've recieved have gotten in the
way. ^^; I got a Play Station for Christmas and now
all I've been able to do is play Final Fantasy VIII (I
get too adicted to games like that too easily!)(I
actually got that for my birthday which is today, Dec.
30, BTW. I'm 17 now! ^_^ I can get into R rated
movies! ^_^) I also got Pocket Fighter and that's an
awesome game! If I can ever pull myself away from my
new toys maybe I can sit my butt down at the computer
and write. ^^; Ah, well. Enjoy! ^_^

Two Halves Make a Whole
Part 5
"Mr. Saotomes sister, eh?" the teacher says studying
the little girl, "Well, I dont know about this...."
"Well, you see shes new in town and shes not
comfortable being on her own quite yet...," Akane
tries to explain, "...I promise that she wont be any
trouble."
The teacher thinks hard about this, not sure whether
or not this is such a good idea. Then, with a deep
sigh, he decides, "Just for today, Miss Tendo, but
remember: Im holding you and Mr. Saotome responsible
for her!"
"Thank you, sir," she politely thanks him.
"Class, we have a visitor," the teacher announces,
"This is Suiren Saotome, Ranma Saotomes younger
sister. Shell be joining us today so make her feel
welcome."
"Ranmas younger sister?!" "Yeah, didnt you see her
beat up on Kuno this morning? It was so funny!" "I had
no idea he had a sister!" "His father really gets
around, doesnt he?" "Yeah, first that thing with Ukyo
and now this." the class mutters and mumbles.
"This is just great," Ranma groans.
Suiren takes a seat between Ranma and Akane.
"Ranma-honey, why didnt you ever tell me about your
sister?" a stranger with a rather large spatula
strapped to their back addresses Ranma. Suiren assumes
the person to be a male. A rather feminine looking
guy, but the person is wearing a guys school uniform.
He quickly whips out two spatulas and a grill from
nowhere and begins preparing an okonomiyaki at an
incredible speed. Within seconds, he flips it to
Suiren who snatches it from the air as it flies
towards her face. "Suiren" it reads.
"Im Ukyo Kuonji," he introduces himself with a wink,
"but, Im sure Ranma must have told you all about me.
After all, he is my fianc!"
"Thats not possible.... My brother isnt engaged to a
guy!" Suiren says.
"What?! Ranma...," Ukyo says impatiently, "You
jackass! You mean you didnt tell her anything at all
about me, your fiance?!"
"Why do you keep saying that? Hes not your fianc!"
Suiren yells, "Hes engaged to Akane!"
"OH! So she knows all about Akane, but you dont
bother to mention me at all?" Ukyo crosses her arms.
"Of course she knows Akane!" Ranma snaps, "We are all
living in the same house, ya know!"
"Listen, Ukyo!" Akane gets into the conversation, "She
just got here a couple of days ago! We just havent
gotten around to explaining things to her yet."
"Would somebody please tell me whats going on??!?!"
Suiren demands, "Why does this guy keep saying that
hes my brothers fianc?"
"Ranma, you jackass!" Ukyo says whipping out her huge
spatula to give Ranma a whop on the head.
"All four of you, out in the hall, NOW!" the teacher
bellows from his desk, stopping Ukyos spatula in
mid-whop.

"Even when we get to school on time this is how we
end up...," Akane says.
"One way or another...," Ranma adds.
Akane, Ranma, Suiren, and Ukyo are standing side by
side in the hall holding a pail of water in each hand.
"This is all your fault, ya know," Akane says to
Ranma.
"My fault?" Ranma says, "What do you mean its my
fault?"
"I agree with Akane!" Ukyo says, "If you had explained
all this to your sister before-hand none of this
wouldve happened, you jackass!"
"Someone explain this to me right now!" Suiren says
through a frustrated sigh, "Im extremely confused
here, people...."
"Well, to start off, Ukyo is a girl," Akane says.
"You are?"
"Yep...."
"Then why do you wear a boys uniform?" Suiren asks
curiously.
"Because I want to," Ukyo shrugs.
"Well... I guess that makes some sense... Im sorry I
called you a guy,... you dont really look like a guy.
Honestly. Its just I assumed you were because of the
uniform,... but I still dont understand why you say
that youre my brothers fiance when hes engaged to
Akane."
"Its kind of a long story, Suiren... you see...,"
Akane begins.
"Let me handle this, sugar," Ukyo steps in and quickly
explains the arrangement made between the two fathers
and the stolen okonomiyaki cart.
"That sounds like dad...," Suiren sighs after hearing
the story.
"So, Suiren, why hasnt Ranma ever mentioned you
before?" Ukyo asks.
"Probably because he didnt even know I existed until
a few days ago," Suiren says sadly.
"What? How could he not know about his own sister?"
Ukyo asks.
"Thats another long story.....," Akane says.
"Well," Ranma begins, "it seems that when pop took me
out on that training expedition when I was six my mom
was pregnant with this little twirp."
"Didnt your dad know that his wife was pregnant?"
Ukyo asks.
"Mommy didnt find out herself until a couple of weeks
after Daddy had already left with Brother Ranma that
she was about two months pregnant," Suiren replies.
"You mean youve never known your father?" Ukyo asks.
Suiren shakes her head.
"Well, its not as if knowing him wouldve made your
life any better," Ranma says.
"Oh, come on, Ranma! How can you be so insensitive?
Shes never known her father and she just lost her
mother!" Akane says, "Its a very tragic experience,
especially for such a young girl. Dont you ever miss
your mother, Ranma?"
Ranma chooses not to answer the question.
"Well, whether you care or not, Ranma, she missed you
and Daddy a lot," Suiren says, "She would always tell
me stories about you... and show me pictures... she
loved you two very much.... She wanted me to know you
even though you werent there...." Suiren heaves a
sigh. "Im sorry Ive caused everyone trouble being
here.... I guess its kinda my fault... maybe I
shouldnt have come here at all...."
"No, Suiren, you have every right to be here. Its not
youre fault," Akane says, "Its your stupid brothers
fault... right, Ranma?"
Ranma looks at her surprised.
"Its not Suirens fault is it?" Akane glares at
Ranma.
"Sure, everythings my fault....," Ranma says
sarcastically, "Just blame it all on the guy with the
pigtail..."
"Do you really mean that? Youre not mad at me?"
Suirens face lights up, "Oh, thank you, Big Brother!"
Suiren throws her buckets in the air and hugs her
brother. "Ooops... Sorry about that...," she says as
soon as she realizes what has happened.
"Great! Now what am I supposed to do?!"
"So I see we have another one...," Ukyo says looking
at the boy that is now Suiren, "At least I only dress
like a boy, sugar."
