Hello,
I am interested to hear the list's input on the current Project Aurora
specifications. Project Aurora is a collaborative project between myself,
a wacky design artist, Turtyl, and megami.net to provide a unified
interactive SQL database of fics. (No,wait...I'm serious. I swear!)
It has floundered a bit considering the hell I was put through at
"college" last semester, but I plan to make up for that in the new year.
This aims to be a very complex and comprehensive database. The
specifications are flexible, allowing users to store their fics on Aurora,
or externally link to their locations on the users' homepages.
Eventually, we want it to be completely interactive, with discussion
forums, reviews, and miscellaneous goodies.
What I would like to hear from the list are general comments (sent not
to the list, but to me, at baughj@rpi.edu, as i think the moderators would
frown on such a thing). I would like to hear comments on the
specifications, and what you think in general about this crazy idea of
ours.
The specification can be found at http://aurora.megami.net/aom.html
If this can be considered spam, or you have been offended by this
message in any way, I humbly apologize and offer my skull as a drinking
gourd for the reader's pleasure.
Ja,
-Justin
