Well here is part 20. I think this story will go on forever, even though
I am getting so little C&C. I get it from only one source.
Please send C&C......
And Enjoy the latest part of my story! *_*
........................................................................................................

                                        Chapter 20: Unknown secrets.

I looked around the city, and sighed. The other Angel was supposed
to be here, but where? This was Europe, England to be more specific. The
other Angel is in Africa, while the other four are missing, or so I was
told by Lilith and the others.
Insanity was supposed to be here, somewhere. But where? Maybe he had
left already, it was most unlikely though.
And so I continued looking around.........
Maeyli, Lilith and Sarah were all leaning on a broken red car, they
had been left behind when I went searching for Insanity. They all had
looks of great distress on their faces, as though something horrifying
had happened.
Lilith looked around at the broken, burning buildings. Her eyes then
drifted to the bodies that littered the ground. And then her eyes moved
to the sky, the dark red sky and black sun. "I think we've made a
mistake."
Maeyli looked at Lilith and snorted. "Well it's your fault! You HAD
to bring him to fight, didn't you. You couldn't have left him with me,
away from all the fighting."
Lilith's eyes flared with great anger at that comment. "Shut up you
bitch! I was doing what was best! Unlike you! He had responsibilities,
and he should fulfil them."
Finally Sarah stepped in. "Shut up! Both of you! I know we all don't
like each other, we all fought each other in the war. But that was a
long time ago, and right now we have to deal with the Messiah."
    Maeyli nodded. "I know."
Lilith sighed and looked up at the black sun. "Once he has taken
care of everything, then we may have to kill him."
The two other girls were surprised by that comment, to say the
least. But it was Sarah who spoke. "You're kidding, right?"
Lilith shook her head. "I work for the good of humanity, and I have
the feeling that Douglas can't handle the power. You saw him back there
fighting Bane. He enjoyed every second of it. That's not the real
Douglas. He must have another Persona, hiding within him."
Maeyli nodded a little. "That may be true, but that doesn't mean we
have to kill him."
"It's for the safety of everything."
"And is that your reasoning. Let's kill a person just because he
MIGHT do something bad. I expected more from you Lilith, instead of a
half-assed idea."
"When you're talking about mankind, you have to be careful. I will
not let mankind die just for one man!"
Sarah stepped into their argument again. "If you try to kill him,
then I will kill you first. You get him over my dead body."
    "And mine."
Lilith nodded at that. She knew when she was beaten, for now that
is. "Fine then. We'll play it your way. But if he does anything to harm
mankind, then it's my job to stop him."
"Fine, fine. Now we don't speak of this to anyone, clear?"
Sarah and Lilith both nodded, and then decided to follow after
me............
Mr. Maddocks walked through the dusty halls of the church's main
headquarters. There was not very much space for walking, only enough for
two people side by side.
The walls were made of oak wood, as were most things in this
building. The floor was red silk over oak wood. And on the walls hung
more paintings, which was something everyone in the church treasured.
There were dozens of different paintings going all the way down the
hall, from one end to the other. They were all framed with gold frames,
and looked marvelous.
He was alone, walking down this hallway. No one else was there, no
one usually came here, this was the hallway leading to the main
communication center. It's where the church used to receive messages
from God, but almost ignores them now. Sure, the church still has to do
the things they're told to do by God, because the church needed to hide
behind the mask of loyalty until they have enough power.
Once Mr. Maddocks had reached the door, he looked at the panel to
the side. It was a metallic panel with a collection of buttons and
screens on it, and a small area to swipe your key card through. And
that's exactly what Mr. Maddocks did. He pulled out a key card from a
pocket on the inside of his black overcoat, and swiped it through the
mechanism. He then pressed ten numbers on the panel, and the door slide
open.
Mr. Maddocks walked through the door and shut it behind him.
The room he was in was small, ad made totally of metal. The floors
and walls were all a silverish metal, and held no pieces of artwork, or
anything of the sort. The only thing in the room was an array of very
powerful computers, about ten of them in the room. They were all on, and
hooked together, so they could access any files on the other computers.
Mr. Maddocks walked over to the largest computer and turned it on.
As he waited for it to boot up, he examined Pandora's box. It looked so
beautiful, and the energy emanating from it was so amazingly powerful
that he could taste it. And it tasted oh so sweet. Power always did.
But this was pure power, raw power, power interfered by nothing. It was
so amazing, so beautiful, it could not be described in words.
Before he could continue thinking about the box, the computer had
finished booting up. So he dropped the box down next to the monitor and
started to look through the files. He soon found the program he was
looking for, Trojan X. it was a program for hacking into very well
defended files. It was the best out there, and should be able to do the
job he wanted.
Mr. Maddocks then began to type, almost to fast to see. He was
entering the password to the program, which was over two hundred
characters long, to prevent someone from entering this program without
his permission. This was his program, and his only. No one would use it
without him knowing about it.
After entering the codes, he began to rewrite the program to enter
the secret database in Heaven. It only took him a couple minutes to hack
into the system. And once he did he went looking for the project named,
Pandora's box.
Once he had found it, he opened up the file, only to be met with the
words classified flashing on his screen. So now he had to hack through
another wall of defense.
It took him about ten minutes to get through that wall, but once he
did, he began to read from the text file in it.
"Pandora's box was developed by Maeyli Ferden, in the year 1200 B.C.
It was developed under a veil of complete secrecy, but became known when
the object went off accidentally and destroyed one third of the human
population on earth. After that Maeyli vanished with the box and has not
been seen since.
After the dismal failure of project Pandora's box, another weapon
was built. Project Messiah was created to developed a weapon which could
not be stolen. A weapon that could make independent thought, and could
destroy without the need of anything but itself. This was known as the
Messiah, or Christ.
In the first test of the weapon, it did not destroy anything at all,
but tried to help people. After that God had it executed by crucifixion,
by getting the religious leaders at the time to persecute the Messiah.
While the second test has had worse side effects, for it seems that
when creating a weapon with free will, it also develops a conscience,
and therefore would not work for us. Instead it had backfired, and the
weapon has turned on us.
A new weapon being developed under the code name "Revelations." No
details on this project are available."
Once he had finished reading all of that, he quickly covered his
tracks and turned off the computer. The thoughts of this project
Revelation were nagging him. What was it? Why hadn't he heard of it
before? And what does is it in relation to Pandora's box and the
Messiah? He would have to figure out. How? By waiting. Everything
reveals itself in due time...........
As I turned a corner, I saw someone moving as well. He was walking
towards me, and he looked like someone I knew.
The person was pretty tall, just over six feet tall. His skin was a
pale white, but looked young. Hie eyes were a dark brown and his hair a
short, messy black. he wore a dark black t-shirt and black sweat pants.
This man looked very familiar, it was me.
He wore a smile on his face as he approached me, with a large white
cross in his right hand, dragging on the ground. "Hi there! Nice to see
you. I'm insanity and you're Douglas, the Messiah, I've been expecting
you."
I was surprised to see this man, who looked much like me. Though due
to events lately, it took something VERY weird to phase me. And this
wasn't something very weird. "I'm here to kill you."
"I expected that, I did indeed. But you see, if I die, you still
lose. You can defeat me, but you will also defeat yourself."
"What kind of double talk is that?"
"The true kind. Every time someone kills another person, he loses
something. A tad of his soul is shadowed by darkness. And this is
happening to you. Your whole heart will be engulfed in shadows soon, and
when that happens, you will do more harm then good."
    "Shut up and lets fight!"
    "Whatever you say. On guard!"
And so we began the battle.............
Alice's eyes moved down to view the status report on the war between
the A.C.M and the Demons. It seemed that they had almost destroyed each
other in bloody conflict. It wouldn't be long until they will destroy
each other. And they were all to damn proud to make a treaty.
But the war didn't directly concern her at the moment, right now she
had to find out who was manipulating everything. She didn't truly
believe that there was a puppet master controlling everything. But God
did, and she had to follow his orders, and that was why she was sorting
through files in a dusty old office.
Laying down the status report she began to look through all the
carious folders trying to find any information she could. After looking
through half a dozen folders, she came upon something interesting. It
was a report on the church, filed just the other day. It stated that the
church's messages to and from Heaven had gone down about 60%. Not only
that but every job given to the church had been given barely any
attention. All of this started shortly after the war between the A.C.M
and the Demons broke out.
This was nothing concrete, but it was something. And so far she had
nothing. So that settled it. Tomorrow she would go down to the church's
headquarters and check this out. But for now, she would search through
more files, hopefully finding something.............
My cross collided with Insanity's and we both jumped back. We then
quickly went back into fighting, each side trying to get the advantage
over the other. It was much like the battle with Bane.
I was enjoying the fight, for some weird reason. I didn't know why,
but I wound it fun watching Insanity loose ground while fighting me. He
was weaker then I was, and if all the Angels were like this, then it
would be easy killing them all. And I would kill them all, watch the
blood drain from them, the life vanish slowly from their eyes. Hear
their staggered breath as they died, I would savor everything.
My cross soon struck him, piercing his heart. And when I did that, I
saw the crimson blood flow from his body, and I loved seeing it. Then I
saw the expression on his face, the one of terror, until he looked into
my eyes, and then he let out a laugh, one laugh before he fell dead, and
his body slipped of my crosses blade.
I didn't know why he laughed, but I didn't like it. I liked seeing
him suffer, it made me feel better, alive. I would love to relive
moments like that forever, savoring the taste of death and victory. And
what a delicious taste that was in my mouth. I must experience it again.
For there was five Angels left, and I would get to see it five more
time. Maybe more if I was lucky. For I could kill Steven, and Lucifer,
and God. And anyone else who works for them. And then the church, I
would kill everyone who worked for them. I would kill them all and bathe
in their blood! I would drink their blood, I would drink it down like
the finest of the finest wine. And then I would laugh over their graves
and spit on their graves.
I looked over to see the three girls looking at me with fear, like
they saw death itself within my eyes. "Where is the next Angel?" My
voice was filled with a certain, cold, sadistic cruelness.
Lilith spoke up, but in a kind of squeak of a voice. "I don't know.
The other five vanished. It seems that they've retreated."
Anger swelled up inside of me, I wanted to fight another. I waned to
taste battle and then death again. And I wouldn't settle for anything
less. "Well then find them! Find them and tell me, and I will do away
with them as well. As you said Lilith, stop the Seven Angels and save
the world. Well that's exactly what I will do. I'll kill them all, and
then anyone else who dares to threaten mankind!"
Lilith looked at me with a certain type of fear. She was terrified
of me, and I was happy to see that. It was almost like I feed of that.
She knew I was lying, and cared not for the safety of mankind. It was
like I was a whole new person, as though in one day I had changed. And
maybe I had. For better or for worse, who was I to judge. "Yes....."
"Good! Now if you don't mind I'm going for a walk. If you three will
excuse me." And I walked away.
When I had left Lilith muttered under hr voice. "I have created a
monster."
