No, Dave didn't. He said that the vampire-dom removed
their Ki abilities, like Mu-Tsu's weapon-generation
abilities. The only mention of the curses and vampire-dom
(that I remember off the top of my head) was this quote:
"Merely a phobia, in this case. Mu-Tsu and Xian-Pu were once
victims of Jusenkyo curses of their own. I do not know whether or
not their transition to an undead state has affected that. They
certainly seem in no hurry to test the theory themselves."
