SGM is one of my favorite what-if Ranma stories. This chapter is

Ranma's curse in the old story. Ranma's continued decision to keep
the curse a secret is a risky move and *could* hurt the readability
of the story.

Possibly true.  However, the first time I wrote SGM, I was more influenced by fanfiction than by manga, and had not even finished reading all 38 volumes.  Looking at SGM after finishing the manga made me shudder.  It will be harder, and take a longer time, but I want to make things a bit more... right this time.

With luck, I'll be up to the challenge.

The scene with Nabiki, Bitter, and Nodoka was classic Takahashi, though.
