Yes, there's a part of him that would like them to fail so he'd have the
excuse. Of course, Hasamoto is a big enough bastard that he'd make up an
excuse if the urge hit him.

Actually, that was SANA and mentioned in GofEVA 1:4and is not the same
girl.
