I just had a couple of ideas, but I wasn't sure what
to do with
them. As such, I decided to give all of you yet another peek
into my warped
and twisted brain. Fasten your seat belts and make sure your
waiver forms
are signed. Here we go!

First, a Ranma/Knight Rider fusion. Ranma (or Ryoga I haven't
decided) takes on the role of Micheal Knight. I'll borrow a
few elements
from VIPER, where Ranma/Ryoga was a criminal as well as one
helluva driver.
Nearly killed in an accident, he's revived by the Knight
Foundation and
programmed so that he does not recall his former life. Reborn as Ranma
Knight (or Ryoga Knight), he is given the supercar KITT.
Snifty! I like this idea, although I'm not sure how it'll work.
Alterverse, certainly, but how much of the cast should be there? I'm having
interesting ideas of Akane as Bonnie (the mechanic lady WAS Bonnie, wasn't
she?). ("What?! You scratched K-chan's paint?! Die!" "No, wait, it's not
like that!" *bonk*)
Nabiki as Devin? (Obviously, wrong sex, but who says the person in
charge has to be a guy?) Or Soun/Genma, maybe, although that would be more
appropriate if you were playing this for laughs.
Would the curse be in effect?
First problem, America or Japan? Given that this is also an
Altiverse fic, placing them in America wouldn't be too hard,
but I'd be
bound to cheese off a few people out there. If I put him in America,
however, I could easily manage a run-in with Bean Bandit, either from
Gunsmith Cats or Riding Bean.
Oooh! I like! Hmm... Rally and Michael... ouch. Now THAT's gonna
be an interesting meeting. Hell, Rally and KITT! :)
Of course, you could always use the tried-and-true International
Agency trick. Based in Japan, but sent around the world on various
missions. Kinda like Interpol, or something.
Hey, if you're gonna put Knight Rider into anime, do it with style!

Second is a fic called Ni Ju Ichi Junyapu Sutorito. I
think that's
how it's written, but anyway it tranlsates to an adress: 21
Jump Street. The
Ranma cast are police officers in a unit that runs covert
investigations in
high schools, colleges, and so forth.
Problem, again, is with location. Japan or America?
Hmm... either would work, although Japan would probably be best, I
think. The sticky issue is, though, would Japan ever do something like
this? I think so, but... (not that it matters much, being a fic and all. :)
Hmm... ep. 1: Kodachi gets busted for drug-running. :)
Ep. 2: Shampoo gets busted for Assaulting with Intent to Glomp.
Of course, the whole concept would probably be better as a
serious/darkfic, but still... :)
