There's an unwritten rule against having Akane be "on stage" for this
series, at least partially because many of the writers are in the "Akane
is a psycho-bitch who should be flayed alive and eaten by fire ants"
school of thought, and no one wants to deal with the flame war that would
ensue if one of them treated her that way....
