When the world fell from grace, so did the hero
known as Tuxedo Kamen. He was a symbol of the
old world, too na�ve, too innocent to protect the
newborn world from the evils the Second Impact
had spawned. And so a new hero emerged, born of

memory of Tuxedo Kamen. He needed no mask to

"Are you familiar with the Goddess Diana?"
"The Moon Goddess?" asked Yui.
"Yes. I was wondering if the character Diana
was somehow based off Eve."
"Why?"
"Well, merely the fact that both are associated
with the moon. Not to mention the multiple
aspects of each. The Moon Goddess has two
aspects, the huntress and the virgin. Eve has
three: virgin, huntress, and sinner. Or, if you
prefer, maiden, mother and crone."
"Sinner?"
"Yes."
There was a pause.
"Um . . . I have a really stupid question. It's just
something I remembered from woman's studies."
"What?"
"A lot of feminists talk about Eve and her role in
the fall of humanity. They say like, you know, the
men *blamed* her for the fall and everything."
"And?"
"It just kinda bugs me. Why did Eve sin? I know
the original Genesis and everything. The reason
there appears to be because she was greedy . . . I'm
not satisfied with that. What do you think the
reason would be in this version?"
"Hmm . . .Well? In the context of this story, I
suppose Eve sinned because she wanted Adam's
attention. You know, jealousy. Adam was thinking
of Lilith, and Eve was jealous."
"Jealousy?"
"Yes."
The moon hung in the sky, surrounded by the
infinite darkness of the night, and what little
light the stars could shine upon it.
"I feel sorry for her," said Yui.
