It had been almost two months since I have posted Part 1. Despite all the
-convincing- reasons I have for delaying this part, like holidays,
PlayStation etc... A post of only a short epilogue in two long months
seems... too...
Aiya! Whatever! I'll just post out a few of Part two. The rest will come
soon.

Inescapable Fate
============
Part 2(a): The Fight for Life
====================
Everything, every last bit of hope left within my heart shattered into
unfixable pieces, lost into the darkness of the bitter cold night. The whole
world seemed to be spinning, falling apart....
"No..." A low stricken shaken voice escaped my throat as I spun around
to face the looming figure behind me. As my eyes locked on the evil red eyes
of the silver werewolf, they widened in bewilderment, and I uttered another
cry. "NOOOO!!!"
**Yes!** the beast sneered. **I am -your father-. The Father you kept
mentioning, the same Father you kept hoping to save you from this...
-terrible- fate.**
I squeezed my eyes close in desperation, wanting badly for the beast to
disappear, wanting to shut off his taunts. But his words kept crawling back
to me, ringing in my ears over and over again. *Iamyourfather.
Iamyourfather. Yourfather. Yourfather. Father...*
For the first time since my arrival did I notice the familiarity of the
beast's silver fur. It was of the same shade as Father's...
Now I understood the feeling, which kept appearing within me, that
Father was somewhere here... He was here all the time! As the beast! The
beast that had killed Shoun, and master...
No! This couldn't be true! His eyes, his howls and his raspy voice... I
had never seen or heard Father that way. No! He couldn't be Father! Father
was -not- a killer! This was not my father. He can't be...
**You don't believe me, don't you?** The beast said as if he had read
my thoughts. **Why don't you ask Kume if I am telling the truth?** At that,
Kume abruptly turned her head away from my desperate pleading gaze.
**Whether you want it or not, I am your father!**
"Stop it! Stop it!!" I screamed in tears, my paws shot up and tried to
cover my ears, I couldn't stand it anymore! I didn't want to listen to this
anymore... please! Please stop!! Please...
But he continued.
**I've been waiting for this chance for -so- long. Imagine, trapped
inside this dog body, so near to those -delicious- humans, yet, so far away.
Finally, it is time -- the time for my awakening. The time when I an in
control.**
"Trapped in Father's body? That means you are not Father at all!" Kume
yelled out. "Where's our father now? What've you done to him?!" she demanded
boldly.
**I know what you are hoping, dog,** the beast smirked. **But you got
it all wrong. Yes, I am not your father, yet at the same time, I -am- him.
You see, your father and I, we are one -- two person in one body. Now that
I'm in control, the one you know as Father is now in a deep sleep within in
this body -- an -eternal- sleep!!**
God! Father and him were one? Two in one same body?! When one was
awake, the other was asleep? And the one who was now sleeping was Father?!
An eternal sleep?! Now I didn't know what to think! My mind was spinning in
total confusion. What should I do? What -could- I do?!
"Sleep!" Kuro's loud voice filled the atmosphere unexpectedly. "I get
it now! I'm dreaming! This is the most ridiculous nightmare I ever had!
Shoo! Shoo! All of you! Come on, back to sleep! Yawn... good night, you
guys!"
The beast and I stared after him, eye widened, unable to utter a sound.
I couldn't believe Kuro just did that! All a dream?! I pinched myself just
in case.
"Come on, Mother. Let's go back to bed."
With her eyes closed, Mother nodded weakly in reply. Kuro tried to
heaved her over his back, but his size was too small to carry a grown dog,
so he half-carried and half-pulled mother gently behind him.
And together with the beast, I just stood there, staring after Kuro as
he staggered back towards the house in a strangely casual way. A moment that
seemed like an eternity passed, the wind howled and swirled, picking the
dried leaves off the ground, making slight rustling noises with them, and
only then did something clicked within the beast mind.
SLAMMM!!!
One of the beast's huge gigantic tails smashed down in front of Kuro,
blocking off his passage. "Hey! What're you doing?!" Kuro growled, facing
crossly at the irate werewolf. "
I blinked. Did he really think that he is dreaming?
Another tail began to swing sideways at him.
No!! Terror gripped me as I watched it. With a speed like that Kuro
with his condition and Mother would never escape it! I couldn't bear to
watch, yet my eyes, my body were stiffed in horror. That blow was set to
kill...

Actually, I had written more than this. But halfway through, the computer
decided to give me an 'illegal operation'. And... You know the rest. Agh! I
hate illegal operations. Why didn't I save? Why?!
