No doubt you're all wondering what this means. In attempt to stop the no
doubt forthcoming deluge of queries, I'm making this public post.
Basically, we had a small problem with the list; for a period of about five
hours, the configuration of the FFML was set so that all posts had to be
approved by a moderator to reach the list.
To keep things chugging along, I approved all posts that came through in
this period so that they went to the list. Doing this requires sending a
cookie (specific and unique to each post to be approved) to a repost
address; as the headers of the previous post indicate, that was where this
post was sent. One of my cookie sends didn't contain the necessary things
to identify me as an administrator, so it got bounced to the administrators
(redundancy! shame!).
When White Wolf fixed the configuration problem (insert chorus of
Hallelujahs here), he also sent the posts recently bounced to the
administrators to the FFML. This apparently included my failed post to the
repost address. At least, this is what I think happened.
Anyway, just to reassure you all, this mysterious message wasn't an attempt
at controlling your minds or making your heads explode; it was merely
erroneous. Please don't e-mail us asking for further explanations.
