This is an absolute last resort. I'm looking for a Ranma fanfic that came
out a while back. It wasn't released on the FFML or the RAAC, but it was
posted on the author's page. I don't recall the name of the author or the
name of the fic, and I don't seem to have bookmarked the page it was on. It
was a rather long series, and I don't think it's complete yet.

  No it's not...

Ranma disappears for several years, then reappears in a crater somewhere in
Oregon, stuck in female form. She's turned over to a successful young
Japanese businessman as his "sister," and he takes care of her. The
businessman is actually Happosai, who took on the form of the samurai who
drowned in the Spring of the Drowned man after drinking water from it at
Ranma's failed wedding.
