Good job, overall. I really liked this, and I felt it was a good
explanation into some of Kaoru's motivations. If you do a revision,
you might want to sneak in a little bit more about the impulses that
draw him to Shinji particularly. Here you seem to show how he's drawn
to all the children, but he chooses to have the greatest amount of
interaction with Shinji. so you may want to explain why he ends up
making that choice. Other than that, I thought this was a very good
character study. Great work!
