                           Chapter 13: Baneful Revelations.

I sat down in the kitchen, with a cup of black coffee in front of
me. It was blacker then the night itself. Yet it was nowhere near as
black as my soul, or lack there of. I was an empty man, a pathetic
person living of the luxury of others. This house, my food, my
education, all paid for by the government, for some reason, most likely
anyone one of the groups that are trying to use me pulled some strings
and got me all of this free.
The question of why I shrugged it off was greatly weighing on my
mind. Why I shrugged off everything. God, Lucifer and Steven. I shrugged
off all responsibilities, all hopes, and things I could have. I shrugged
them all off for a bottomless pit of my sorrows and a lifetime as my
pathetic self. And maybe, just to make things worse, since I was the
Messiah, then I would live forever, and enjoy an eternity of pain. For
something prevented me from committing suicide.
"Why did you do it? Why did you throw away your chance for
redemption. Why won't you help humanity?"
I recognized the voice, it was Lilith, paying me another visit. "Go
away Lilith, I don't want to talk to you. And anyone else."
"Turn towards me and looking into my eyes, and say that. Will you be
able to?"
I turned to my right to look up into Lilith's gentle red eyes. She
was standing, tall and proud, steadfast in a way. "Go away Lilith."
"You say it so easily. Have you no soul left?"
"No, I don't. You should no that by now."
    "I wish I didn't."
    "Then go away."
    "I can't."
    "Why not?"
"Because I have to tell you the truth."
"I've had enough truth for a lifetime. Get away! I want to know no
more! My life is already fucked up enough. Ignorance is truly bliss."
"Well I'll tell you any ways. It's not your fault for killing your
parents."
    "I'm not listening!"
    "It was my fault."
    "I didn't hear that."
"I have the ability to manipulate emotions, it's called mind tapping
I made you kill your parents in cold blood. That's also how I stopped
you from committing suicide. I did it so you would not make the same
mistake as almost two thousand years before."
At that moment, I punched Lilith. So hard across the face that I
heard her cheek bone crack. But she didn't flinch, she just stood there
with a battered in, blue cheek. "I deserved that. I did it because it
was the only thing I could do to prevent you from choosing the Angels
side. If I had let you go free, you would have chosen to go with God,
your father. And if you did all of mankind would be destroyed.
Everything mankind has strived for after tens of thousands of years
would be gone. The great cities. The technology, the people, everything.
So I had to anchor you in a pool of hatred and spite towards God for
letting this happen. It was the only thing I could do without causing
any major problems. Anything else would have made everything worse for
you, and all of mankind. I'm sorry."
I didn't care that she was sorry, I didn't care at all. I just
started to hit her. Over and over again. Dozens of times I struck her
body, and heard bones crack. But not once did she scream, not once did
she raise a finger to stop me. Not even when she fell to the floor and
couldn't stand anymore, did she do anything. She took her punishment so
well I couldn't believe it. And once she had reached the floor, I had no
more urge to hurt her.
My anger had calmed a little, but it was still burning violently.
"You ruined my life. I hate you! Just leave me alone!"
A tear ran down Lilith's face, and then another, and another until
it was coming down her face like a stream. She nodded slightly. "I
understand. I know what I have done for you is painful. I just hope you
realize it was for the good of everything. The needs of the many
outweighed the needs of the few." And she vanished.
With her gone, I had no one to take my anger out on. But I had
things.
I got up and picked up the chair, and threw it against the wall. It
broke into half a dozen pieces and fell to the floor.
My hands then moved towards the table, where I hit it and it
chattered into a million pieces.
I then hit the wall, and it broke, leaving a hole about the size of
a large door in it.
Everything was so wrong, I hated my life, if only it would end. Damn
Lilith! Damn Sarah! Damn God and Lucifer! Damn Steven and Alice. Damn
everyone to hell. I wanted no part in what was going on. I just wanted
to be left alone. I wanted nothing more then to die, to turn my back on
everything.
With my mind full of hopes of death and doom, I walked upstairs and
went to bed..............
    "Send the Seven Angels."
    "Sir?"
    "As I said, send them."
"But we don't have the Messiah."
"And we won't, ever. He is against us, and he shall be swept away
like everyone else."
    "Yes God."............
    "Angry, aren't you."
I knew that voice all to well, it was Sarah, wanting to talk to me.
Wanting to use me like everyone else. To fight their pathetic and
pointless wars. I was like a sword, something to be swung around at the
wielders discretion. And when I was not needed anymore, thrown away.
Thrown away like trash.
"Go away. I no longer want to speak to anyone, not a single soul.
Let the whole world go to hell around me, I don't care in the
slightest."
A sigh came from the floor where she sat. I was in bed at the time,
not able to sleep. With the screams of many in my mind and the thoughts
of all that had happen lately. It was a heavy weight on my soul, one I
wished would go away.
"I'm not leaving you like this, your a wreck."
    "I am fine! Don't I look alright?"
"On the outside, yes. But on the inside your torn up beyond belief.
Different parts of you want you to do different things. You are divided
three ways, and that must hurt. Why don't you just choose one side and
let all the pain go."
I didn't want the pain to go away, unless it was through death. I
didn't want to forget what I did back then, when I killed my parents.
Even if Lilith claims she caused it, the blame is all but my own. and if
I let go of that fact for one second, I would be no better then those
who want to use me like a tool. "NO!"
Heat swelled up inside of me, my whole body was engulfed in flames.
The flames formed a sphere, completely protecting me from anything
outside of the sphere.
The heat was so intense, and I had to release it.
The sphere vanished and then reappeared in my hand, hovering above
it. The fire was compacted into a small, basketball sized sphere within
and around my clenched fist. And I then threw the flame at her.
The swirling ball of fire connected with her right arm, burning the
flesh to a black colour. I could hear the skin burning, smell the
burning flesh.
Sarah screamed in pain and flew all the way back to the wall, and
hit it with a thud. "Damn it! What the hell did you do that for?"
Another sphere of fire appeared in and around my fist. "Go away! Or
I'll burn your other arm."
Sarah only nodded before vanishing. She had a hurt, betrayed look in
her eyes. As though her heart had been ripped out. And it pretty much
had, by me.
The flame around my hand vanished with her, and I lost
consciencness.
