We see these an awful lot around here....
Why not just write these ideas yourself? Especially when you say
that you'd do it anyway if no one picks it up. Who cares? You're willing
to do it, you have the idea, so go to it.
I don't mind an occasional story idea post, if it's well thought
out and has some detail behind it, and you're really not thinking of ever
doing it yourself. These simple one-or-two sentence tossups of vague
mental creations really border on spam. In fact, I recall there being a
clause in the faq about them.
Whatever. Just--go and write it, if you really want to see it.
