Hmmmm. Well the epilogue was to satisfy all the people
who wanted to know what happened after the fight.
It was a matter of deciding what time frame I wanted
to use. I could have ended it with Nabiki strangling
Oda but that wasn't very satisfying. (to me at any
rate) And considering how dramatic, or dark if you
prefer, the previous section was I thought a more
light hearted approach provided balance. There is,
IMO, ample precedence in many anime/manga for
interspersing drama with rampant silliness. ^_^.
As for the name . . .I introduced the name change to
indicate Akane had completed her Yellow Dragon
training. However in such a short story I felt it
would be easier for the reader if I kept using Akane
for identification. In a longer story with time for
the reader to adjust I would have stuck with Yoarashi

Ack, I didn't mean it like that. How mean. :( The
story flow just seems
forced and overly contrived in the epilogue, and I
really appreciated the
story, but didn't think it fit in.
