What bugs me is Nabiki's characterisation.  Ranma is 
good-looking, reasonably smart (since this one's an ace reporter), famous 
and the heir to a half-interest in the family business.  Given that he 
doesn't have any inconvenient impediments like a weird curse, just why 
is she is so eager to hand him off to her sister?
