- Ki vs. Chi... Don't ask. Chris Rijk gave me sufficiently good
reasons to change it (I updated the first chapter). It was a
looooonnng debate... I had to go into the really esoteric stuff with
him and I'm still not 100% sure I got it right. Takahashi didn't
bother to really detail the mechanics of spirituality in her manga...

I just want to point this out as a matter of contention. You cannot give
spirituality mechanics, it then stops being spiritual and becomes just
another law of the universe. Science progressed far enough can seem magic
(I don't remmeber the quote.. but if you know i, you understand). I've
noticed this trend lately, people trying to explain away the effects of
ki(or chi; im not touching that one with a ten foot pole). I say let
commen
sense prevail, if it doesn't seem possible it isn't

Hm.. I'm not sure I agree.. Spiritual things in Ranmaverse are very real.
(After all, Ranma's actually talked to what? 5 ghosts, at least one stone
statue and lotsa other things)
It seems that you can take a book of japanese
mythology, and just consider everything there very real. In Ranmaverse, that
is.

If something doesn't seem possible, it doesn't mean it's impossible.
