Depends on which version of SM you follow. The ANIME
had a homosexual pairing in the first season, but the
MANGA very clearly did not - in fact, there are lots
of *very* clear hints that the Four Generals each had
a romantic relationship with one of the scouts (and in
"Codename wa Sailor V", the prequel manga which
follows Venus' adventures as Sailor V, it's stated
explicitly that Princess Venus and Kunzite were
lovers). So lots of manga purists are VERY down on any
yaoi pairing among the Generals because of that.
This is not to say don't do it - but be very careful
to make sure you stay in anime storyline. Or people
will be able to quite legitimately come down on you
like a hundredweight of roofing tiles for OOC.
Firstly, I write Sailor Moon Yaoi - not in the
specific sense as in PWP, but it's m/m anyway,
although nothing above PG-13.
Ouch! I'm sorry to say it, but this is not a good
place to post yaoi. The best place to post yaoi is the
Yaoi Slash Mailing List.
Why I say this is because in the past, when people
have posted yaoi here, it has been literally ripped to
shreds by otherwise completely wonderful C&C'ers. Most
C&C'ers here *will* give you in-depth grammar checks,
alternatives to awkward phrasings, etc., and praise
where it's due, but when the yaoi fics were presented,
there was NOTHING like that. Every single mistake was
held up to the microscope, every plot leap was jumped
on, every misassuption was pointed out - and without a
single leavening of even the mildest of praise,
whether or not it was due.
I recommend you advertise here for beta readers, but
join YSML (at eGroups) and post your completed fics
there.
Secondly, I write about a pairing that I've
discovered
in the six months I've been writing is NOT
accepted
by
the majority of Sailor Moon fans, I've been flamed
frequently by those who have read my PG-13 stories
and
been called a pervert and worse. It's
Nephrite/Jadeite
by the way :)
Ouch, you *really* have a problem. In manga
continuity, the Four Generals are definitively
straight, while in anime, you have the Naru (Molly)
factor. I see OOC accusations wherever you go with
this pairing. I think you'll have to work it into the
'prior to Sailor Moon' time.
I'd really love some help as I have huge gaps in
my
knowledge when it comes to grammar for some
reason,
everything I learnt while at school just never
stuck.
I also tend to muck up tenses in the worst way and
can't seem to pick it up no matter how many times
I
re-read it.
Beta readers should help. Also, try saying it as you
type. It sometimes helps you if you listen to what
you're saying. (Don't do it if anyone else is present,
you may never live it down.)
