Oki, I'm back from my self-enforced vacation. As a token of
my 'quest' to make my SI character more 'human', I tried my
hand at pointless, absolutely senseless humor.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present:
Fix The Roof

Plip-plop.
Kiwasaki and Seratia glared identical glares at the offending roof-leak.
"Fix it."
It was not a plea, neither was it a question. It
was a flat demand.
"No."
"@$#^@%# why NOT?"
"Too wet."
"%*%^#^#**^%$&^%! Let me down IMMEDIATELY!" Sera
thrashed ineffectually back and forth on the pulley lead
that Kiwasaki had strung her up onto.
"FIX THE ROOF!"
"NO!"
"THEN STAY UP THERE!"
"Look, just FIX the roof!"
"NO! It’s too wet!"
"I’ll hold an umbrella for you!"
"Too slippery! I’ll break my neck!"
"So WHAT? You can just start over!"
"I’m not going to be called ‘kodomo-chan’ AGAIN
just for the sake of fixing the roof for you!"
"OKAY, LAST CHANCE! FIX. THE. LEAK. N-O-W!"
"NO, NO AND NO! It’s not MY fault it started raining
like that!"
"OH, AND NOW YOU WANT ME TO BLAME SOMEONE WHO COULD
POSSIBLY BLAST ME TO KINGDOM COME!"
"YES! AND SO CAN I!"

"…owie…"

EPILOGUE
No, the roof wasn’t fixed. No, the rain didn’t stop
pouring down.
Bugger.
"MY FURNITURE! MY _FLOOR_!"
That, my friend, is what happens to people who
refuse to fix the roof in a midst of a roaring deluge when
the house in question belongs to themselves.

Author's note: This was written during a rainy day when
the roof was leaking lightly, and I was seriously
considering getting an umbrella fixed over my computer.
BTW, here are the profiles on Sera and Kiwasaki, just in
case someone gets confused. (HEY! I said this was an
ORIGINAL fic remember?)

NAME: Ryuusen, Seratia
AGE: Unknown and possibly incalculable
NATIONALITY: Chinese, but by preference Japanese
STATUS: Goddess of Infinity, which only means that she can move through
time. Battle capabilities are purely training, and powers are nil at this
time because of her recent tiff with Kami-sama.
MISC: Has an infinite number of lives, but hates being called kodomo-chan
(kid). Inside joke: Each life has to be started all over again from birth
onwards. So Sera obviously wouldn't want to risk being a 'kodomo' just
because she broke her neck when she fell down.

NAME: Kiwasaki (no surname)
AGE: Unknown (impolite to ask a lady's age)
NATIONALITY: Semi-Juraiian from father's side of family,
but very touchy on race of mother
STATUS: Sera's best friend from ID school, appointed forty
years after her graduation by Kami-sama to be Sera's
'assistant' (which means that she walks all over her best
friend).
MISC: Not exactly the best person to squabble racial purity
with, Kiwasaki has a very undiplomatic way of asserting her opinion-
usually very demonstratively (as shown above). Has
abrupt mood swings.
