Actually, Jupiter stands for the elemental Oak. Or was it Tree. Something like
that.
Basically eastern philosophy has wind, water, earth, fire, void, metal, wood
(thats IT!), and something else (electricity?) as elementals. At least I hope I
have the list right. Western philosophy has wind, water, earth, and fire as
elementals. Greek and Romans had earth, wind, water, fire, and ether as
elementals. Of course, this is what I remember from reading text books in High
School two years ago, so I could be wrong.

electricity; Makoto's is fighting. It was Makoto, not Jupiter, who had
the date with Brock. (And in any case, in the later seasons, some of
Jupiter's attacks become plant based...)
